Jindalee has a total of 230 staff members, including: nursing, hospitality, lifestyles, administration and general services. Nursing staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our dedicated staff are compassionate and committed to providing quality care to each and every resident. Our senior management team have 80+ years of combined aged care experience and local community knowledge.

We have one of the most experienced nursing teams in Canberra and have built our reputation as the City’s premier aged care provider.

Director of Nursing - Jo Costuna

Jo CostunaDirector of Nursing

Jo is one of Jindalee’s most fervent team members and has a passion for excelling the care of the elderly. Jo began her time at Jindalee in 1996 and is currently a Director of Nursing at the facility. She has trained in General Nursing, Community Nursing of the Elderly and is a Post Graduate in Palliative Care, Dementia Care, Business Management and Human Resources. Jo was also the winner of Better Practice Award in Dementia and Depression Care and the winner of Clinical Excellence Award for the International Midwives and Nurses Week.

Jo is passionate about cooking and entertaining and loves travelling locally and abroad. She loves spending as much time as possible with her loving family and friends.

Deputy Director of Nursing - Pam Bondfield

Pam BondfieldDeputy Director of Nursing

Pam has worked as a Registered Nurse for most of her working life. She trained at the Royal Canberra Hospital and has also worked at the St Vincent’s Hospital in the Medical, Neurology and Ophthalmology departments.

Pam has been a Jindalee staff member for 17 years.

Pam is the proud mother of 2 daughters and enjoys reading, doing puzzles and watching movies in her spare time.

Administration Manager - Sally-Anne Arrowsmith

Sally is Jindalee’s Administration Manager and has been at the facility since 2006. Sally grew up in Mitchem, Victoria and moved to Canberra when she was 18. She completed her Certificate in Youth Work and spent the next 17 years as a Youth worker in rehabilitations in Melbourne and Sydney. Sally decided to change paths in 2000 and completed her Certificate in Administration. She began her aged care career for Carers ACT and worked on projects such as the Residential Respite program. Sally continues to grow with the industry and now has 12 years in aged care experience. 

Sally loves the outdoors and thoroughly enjoys walking and gardening. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and family pets.

ACFI Coordinator - Cathy Ross

Cathi RossACFI Coordinator

Cathi previously worked as a qualified florist before joining Jindalee 18 years ago as an Assistant in Nursing. She is currently the ACFI Coordinator. Cathi is passionate about working at Jindalee by contributing to deliver a high standard of care to all residents.

In her spare time Cathi enjoys watching sports including AFL, rugby league, hockey and soccer. She also enjoys gardening, redecorating and loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Cathi is married with 2 children who are now adults and has 2 step children who have also grown up. She is looking forward to having some grandchildren in the future.

Maintenance Manager - Stephen Harrison

Steve has worked at Jindalee for 10 years as the Maintenance Supervisor.

Ward Clerk - Shane Tasker

Shane TaskerWard Clerk

Shane has work at Jindalee for 17 years in various roles, including the kitchen and laundry. Her current position is a Ward Clerk.

Shane spends her free time chasing after her girls and husband who compete in team penning and sorting which involves using horses for cattle work, this means Shane spends most of weekends away. Shane is married and has 2 daughters.

Ward Clerk - Tanya Reid

Tania ReidWard Clerk

Tania attended school and grew up in a country town called Crookwell, where she worked as a retail manager for 8 years before moving to Canberra. She commenced working at Jindalee in 2003, her current position is a Ward Clerk.

Tania loves the outdoors and spends a lot of time on her family farm. She enjoys spending time with friends, family, her 2 sons and travelling whether it is in Australia or overseas. In her spare time Tania also enjoys watching a variety of sports especially football and cricket.
